About Us
Who We Are
My Twin Foundation is an organization that started on January 5, 2023, initiated by a Rwandan who desires to advance the country by changing mindsets and reducing the number of children and youth facing life challenges beyond their control. The foundation is based on three pillars: Humanity, Love, and Peace. It aims to create positive change in the lives of young people and children through various developmental and assistance activities. The foundation currently consists mainly of young Rwandans.
Our Mission
My Twin Foundation is built on the values of humanity, love, and peace. Through various activities, the foundation aims to create change in the lives, mindsets, and development of children and youth. Based on the challenges faced by these young people, often not of their own choice, we organize activities that provide assistance, including:
- Discussions to help change mindsets and mental health
- Providing material support
- Supporting government programs and the national vision through various initiatives
Our Vision
- To protect the mental well-being of children and youth through discussion programs
- To educate the youth about the history of the country and encourage them to engage in activities that contribute to the governance of the country
- To connect the youth with government leaders and investors to learn from them, thus creating opportunities and innovations to reduce unemployment among young people
- To build a society based on inherited values and actions
- To assist children from poor families by providing essential tools for education until they finish secondary school
- To launch various projects that generate income and create jobs for the youth

Our Founder
Mr. Jean Victor Ishimwe
Founder & Chairperson
Mr. Jean Victor Ishimwe is a Rwandan youth social activist and advocate dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities especially young generations across Africa.
Throughout his years of activism, Mr. Ishimwe has focused on promoting personal merit, transgenerational legacy, and the values that define an empowered and purpose driven youth.
He is the Founder and CEO of Zebra Artworks Group, an enterprise rooted in construction and decoration, with a strong commitment to empowering young people and contributing to Rwanda's long-term development goals.
Mr. Ishimwe also serves as the Chairperson of the My Twin Foundation, an initiative that emerged as a powerful response to the growing need for mental health awareness among Rwanda's youth. The foundation continues to inspire young Rwandans to think critically, embrace resilience, and develop sustainable solutions to the challenges facing their communities.
